Redefining Over-the-Hill for Single Baby Boomers (and yes, even some of you Gen X-ers)

10/09/2014

Being 40+ and single truly is different than being single in your 20’s and 30’s. No more clubbing. No more bar scene. No more dating people you work with. You’re busy, successful and know what you want. You can get right to the point and are pretty good at reading someone you meet.

Enter Martin Castillo, Executive Chef of San Francisco’s hotter than hot, Limon. Teaming up with LoveBeginsAt, the new 40+ dating site designed for the 40-60 crowd, Chef Castillo will create secret culinary magic for the new “Over the Supper” club launching on Tuesday, October 21st.

The new supper club concept – one exclusively for 40+ singles – hopes to help people find true love by combining the efficiency of online with the more natural setting of offline events. LoveBeginsAt recognizes singles experienced in both good and bad relationships don’t want to be confined to a one-on-one coffee date where they must test the chemistry of someone they’ve met online. They’d prefer the prospects of a fun night out, in a casual but upscale environment where they can thoroughly enjoy themselves with other like-minded singles.

Imagine experiencing the flavor profiles of crispy ceviche paired with yucca and cancha. Or, perhaps a aji panca chardonnay sauce over grilled chicken. Conversations can start naturally over housemade alfajores and progress over glasses of wine and pleasurable banter. This is the new era of dating over 40. Finally.

LoveBeginsAt is extending the pricing of $40 for a $150 exclusive experience for their “Over the Supper” launch, but seating is limited and so is the number of men and women spots to create an equal gender set.
